In 2010 we purchased our foundation Murray grey stock from Big River Murray Grey Stud.
One of the two starting lines was Hagrey Chelsea. She came with Big River Chelsea as a calf at foot & went on to deliver Knockando X-Roads Clyde (he has been sold on for breeding purposes)
The second was Hargey Beryl. She went on to deliver Knockando Commanders Bonnie.
And last but by far not least was Big River Marie. She came as an exchange for Beryls bull calf at foot.
All of these animals have gone on to breed some fantastic breeders & bulls that have been sold on for breeding purposes.
At this stage we don't have the facilities to hold on to bulls so all male calves are steered unless someone has contacted us and expressed interest in purchasing a specific line.
In 2014 we were contacted regarding a specific colour & line. So we contacted the farmer as soon as a bull hit the ground.
He was out of Hargrey Chelsea by Yamba Werewolf and he was sold on at weaning to a commercial murray grey breeder.
